I am a creative young filmmaker. Starting as a photographer at the faculty of Applied Arts in Cairo, I joined the Academy of Cinema Arts and Technology in 2006 to fulfill my passion for filmmaking. I began my journey as a freelance photographer, showcasing my work in many national and international photography exhibitions. In 2008, I made my first short film, “Taxi”, which was ranked 1st YouTube video by Live Magazine.

Interests: Art, History & Philosophy.

People who inspire me: Pedro Almodovar, Emir Kusturica, Shady Abd El Salam, Hussien Kamel, Nietzsche, John Berger, Mostafa Mahmoud, Salah Jaheen, Sigur Ros, Mohamed Makhzangi, Sayed Mekawy, Mohy El Dien El Labad.

Arabia Offscreen helped me to know how young people all over the world have more in common between themselves than differences.
