I’ve been crazily passionate about the art world and art itself ever since I was first exposed to it in my teens. It was hence only natural that I enrolled into an art university for a bachelor in fine arts. In these past three years, I’ve been gradually developing my art practice and it is still too early to say where I’m heading but I can surely say that I’ve been most interested in critiquing art. I plan to start an art magazine as soon as I graduate to fill in the gap of art criticism in Pakistan and to bring art into the lives of the masses.

The expedition awakened me to the possibility of my power as an individual in my society. Meeting people who have actively worked for a greater cause inspired me and made me realise how I can initiate a system instead of passively entering an existing system!
