Ayat Ayat is a series of art pieces that are inspired by the deep spiritual feeling one senses in the Holy Grand Mosque in Makkah. The pieces not only celebrate the magnificence of the Kaaba, but also the visual beauty of patterns and densities formed by people and their synced movements. The artistic calligraphic marvelous of the Kiswah, the cover of the Kaaba, and the tranquil sequential movement of the people around the Kaaba are a few of the many beauties seen in the holy mosque.

The artist started each piece by illustrating a chosen Quraanic verse that is embroidered on the Kaaba. The use of letters as building blocks over the photographs was manipulated to abide by the Sharia, Islamic rule, and completely remove representations of figures; transforming the photograph into lyrical abstracted forms.
