When ever i hear the word museum the first thing that comes to my mind is a strict place where security works around the clock and every thing should be spotless and shiny ..
in the 3rd of july 2011 from 9:00am until 3:00pm the British museum changed my perspective on art, exhibitions, museums and the people who works at a museum ..
We went to the "BRITISH MUSEUM" not any museum! and the idea of being able to see it not like any regular visitor is just amazing! only the winners got to see it the way i did only us the 10 luckiest saudi artists ..
I know this trip wasn't easy to plan, so thank you Mr.Stephen ..

Today was a good day. Learned a lot. meet the hole team that are putting up a show about Hajj. its amazing how they have been working on it for more then two years. as a muslim it always worries me how people might represent Islam, but that was something i could be proud of. so thank you to the team that are making it happen!

sketch of the great team:

The team are given an amazing opportunity to go behind the scenes at the British Museum and work with curators, designers and educators to understand the process of putting an exhibition together, and just how many elements need to come together to make it a successful and inspiring event!

Venetia Porter was very inspiring. She shared with us her upcoming project and not many people know about it.. it's the greatest secret I'll ever keep!

Curating an exhibition
The team have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go behind the scenes at the British Museum, where they work with curators on putting together exhibitions. The rest of the day is spent learning from and exploring the Museum, before heading out to dinner in the City and reflecting on the day’s events.
